T-Pain Microphone – Good or Bad Idea?

I stumbled upon this gem at Toys R US when I was shopping around for my nephew’s birthday gift. The T-Pain Microphone quickly grabbed my attention. I shot this video below to really poke fun at the toy but it later dawned on me that this is actually an ingenious product endorsement and marketing gimmick. Although, I didn’t purchase this for my nephew….ironically enough someone else did. To add insult to injury this T-Pain Microphone gift quickly became his favorite and the selected weapon of choice to annoy the adults in the house. Well done T-Pain for getting the children of the world singing with auto-tune.

What are some other good celebrity product placements that come to mind?

Seriously T-Pain?
